Twitter – the constant conveyor belt of information

The other day I was talking with some college students who said they never use Twitter.  “Overload,” said one of the students.  He just felt between his Facebook – which he is on constantly – and phone texts and emails and the myriad of other groups,  schoolwork, websites and blogs he is part of or reads, there was just no time left to Tweet or be Tweeted to.  He may be right but he is also young and in school and once he gets out, according to the current stats, he will probably be tweeting about where to meet his buddies for a beer, what coffee shop he is at,  how the waves are at the beach, not to mention posting his favorite sites and info that he grabs off of the web.
